Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is a yellow powder at 20 °C and 1013 hPa.

This substance is almost identical to the analogous Similar Substance 1 in fact Target Substance is one of the component of Similar Substance 1 as demonstrated in report included in Section 13. Even though no specific test was performed on Target Substance, data from Similar Substance 1 has been considered valid and taken into account for the assessment. The slightly differences between the two substances are not expected to impact the physicochemical properties.

Particle size distribution is expected to be in the “inhalable fraction” and the relative density in the range 1 -2 at 20 °C. Considering the thermal behavior of Similar Substance 1, Target Substance is expected not to show any thermal event up to 420 °C at and to have a negligible vapor pressure.

The substance is very soluble in water and have a negative logPow.

The substance does not meet the criteria to be considered as autoflammable/flammable/explosive/oxidising. The substance does not contain chemical groups associated with explosive properties and is considered to be non explosive and incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials, also on the basis of its thermal properties.
