Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
- -80 °C
Additional information
Three measured melting point values from the same author (Haas, 2017) are available for the substance.
A melting point value of <-80.0°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) method in accordance with OECD Test Guideline 102. The value is considered to be reliable and is selected as key value. Additionally, a melting point of <-50.0°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a cloud point method in accordance with the ISO 3015 test method and a melting point of <-50.0°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a pour point method in accordance with the OECD Test Guideline 102.
All three studies were conducted in compliance with a known quality system (ISO 9001:2008).
