Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not practical except for some in-use recycling. Exhausted
solutions may be reconditioned.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Solid : Sweep up and arrange for incineration or safe
disposal by licenced waste disposal contractor. Solution :
Neutralise with sodium bicarbonate and flush to sewer with
large amounts of water.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The solid can be destroyed by incineration.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance may be degraded by waste water purification
systems.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance itself will not enter the public domain.
