Description of key information

GLP study according to EU testing method A.1 (capillary method).
Analytical development Physicochemistry, Bayer Schering Pharma AG, Berlin. Study report No. A48511 (ADP 2009_78), dated 2009-12-08.
Result: melting range 168.1 °C to 170.2 °C 169°C (441.1 K to 443.2 K)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting range was determined using the capillary method. A small amount of the test item was placed in a capillary tube and packed tightly. The measurements were carried out with a Büchi Melting point B 540 instrument. The measurement was started approx. 10 K below the expected melting temperature with a heating rate of 0.5 K/min. During the determination of the melting temperature, the temperatures were recorded at the beginning of the melting and at the final stage. The experiment was made in triplicate.
