Additional information

Tetrahydrothiophene has been found to be hydrolytically stable, with less than 10% degradation in 5 days, in an experiment by Meinerling (2010). This is a GLP-compliant study, which followed OECD guideline 111, is considered reliable and suitable for use. Data are available for phototransformation (Atkinson, 1989), which indicate that tetrahydrothiophene would have an atmospheric half-life of between 0.8 and 1.8 days. These data have been taken from a reliable review article and can be considered suitable for use for this endpoint.
