Additional information

Data are available for three trophic levels (fish, Daphnia and algae). The following sections detail the robust summaries prepared for the available key and supporting studies and any justification for waiving the endpoints in the appropriate sections. The studies are all Klimisch score 1 or 2 (Klimisch et al, 1997) and are considered reliable and suitable for use for these endpoints. The results of the key studies available indicate that tetrahydrothiophene is not expected to be toxic to aquatic organisms.
