Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

EC50 (48 h) = 35 mg/L (geometric mean measured, Daphnia magna, OECD 202)

ErC50 (72 h) = 48 mg/L (nominal, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, OECD 201)

ErC10 (72 h) = 30 mg/L (nominal, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, OECD 201)

Additional information

Two OECD guideline studies (GLP) are available, which assessed the aquatic toxicity of the substance on two different trophic levels. The effect values for both trophic levels were within a comparable range of toxicity. The algae study resulted in an ErC50 (72 h) of 48 mg/L and an ErC10 (72 h) of 30 mg/L whereas an EC50 (48 h) of 35 mg/L resulted for aquatic invertebrates. The effect concentrations of the algae study are based on the nominal concentration whereas the endpoint of the Daphnia study is based on the geometric mean measured concentration.
