Handling and storage

1. Precautions for safe handling

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Control Parameters
- This product, as supplied, does not contain any hazardous materials with occupational exposure limits established by the region specific regulatory bodies.

2. Exposure controls
2.1 Appropriate engineering controls:
- Provide appropriate exhausts ventilation at work places.
- Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.
2.2 Personal protection equipment
2.2.1 Respiratory protection
For nuisance exposures use type PA (EU EN 143). For higher level protection use type ABEK-P2 (EU EN143) respirator cartridges. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as as CEN (EU).
2.2.2 Hand protection.
Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Us proper glove removal technique without touching glove’s outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices.
Wash and dry hands.
The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
2.2.3 Eye and face protection.
Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as EN 166 (EU).
2.2.4 Other skin protection
Choose body protection in relation to its type, to the concentration and amount of dangerous substances, and to the specific work-place. The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
2.2.5 Hygiene measures.
Always observe good personal hygiene measures, such as wash hands thoroughly after handling. Routinely wash work clothing and protective equipment to remove contaminants. Discard contaminated clothing and footwear that cannot be cleaned. Practice good housekeeping.
