CALIBRATION

- Pressure readings are shown in Table 5 (below) together with the calculated volume for the reference and sample cells.

- As the reference cell volume and sample cell volume were within the defined tolerances (90.953 ± 1.0 cm3 and 149.225 ± 1.0 cm3 respectively), the gas comparison pycnometer was considered acceptable for use.

GUIDELINE

The determination was carried out with a gas comparison pycnometer, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.3 Relative Density of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 109 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 02 October 2012.

The density of the test item was determined to be 927 kg/m3 at 20.0 ± 1.0 °C and the relative density was reported as 0.928.
