Description of key information
The performance of ecotoxicological studies is technically not feasible due to the unavailability of an appropriate analytical procedure.
Additional information
An analytical method for the quantification of SULFONYL VINYL ETHER PERFLUORURATE in water was tried to be developed and validated. The accuracy and repeatability measured on test item quality control samples were lower than the acceptance criteria (<<70%). All the feasible measures at the lab have been tried in order to improve the performance of the method. Accuracy and repeatability could not be improved due to test item properties (high vapour pressure at 20°C that results of evaporation during analyses). Since all the feasible measures have been implemented unsuccessfully it is concluded that a reliable analytical method cannot be established for SULFONYL VINYL ETHER PERFLUORURATE.
