Description of key information

Upon heating of 4,4’-Methylenebis(N-butoxycarbonylcyclohexanamine), endothermic effects were observed in the temperature ranges 80-130 °C (melting) and 280-340 °C (probably decomposition). The color of the test item changed to black indicating a change in chemical identity. In follow-up studies, a decrease in weight to less than 5 percent was observed confirming decomposition.
