Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The following experimental ecotoxicological results are available: LC50 (96h) > 100 mg/L, NOEC (96h) ≥ 100 mg/L for Danio Rerio (OECD 203, static) NOEC (24h & 48h) ≥ 100 mg/L, EC50( 24h & 48h) > 100 mg/L for Daphnia magna (OECD 202, static) NOEC (72h, growth rate & yield) ≥ 100 mg/L, LOEC, EC10, EC50 (72h, growth rate & yield) > 100 mg/L for Desmodesmus subspicatus (OECD 201, EU method C.3, static) EC0 ≥ 92 mg/L, NOEC ≥ 92 mg/L over 28 days for activated sludge of a predominantly domestic sewage (Toxicity Control from OECD 301F) The substance arises no toxicity concern for the environmental compartment.

Conclusion on classification

Considering all available data of the acute toxicity tests on aquatic organisms, environmental fate issues and taking into account the provisions laid down in Council Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) No. 1272 /2008, the substance does not need to be classified with respect to acute and long-term toxicity towards environmental organisms.
