The CO2-free reagent water used to prepare the solution had a pH value of 4.81 (5.48 after exposure to air) and a temperature of 25.0°C. The pH of an aqueous 1% (w/w) solution of the test substance was determined in triplicate (5.92, 5.75, 5.66) to be 5.78 ± 0.13 at 24.8 ± 0.3°C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
pH = 5.78
Executive summary:

The pH of a 1% solution was measured using a pH meter. The pH of an aqueous 1% (w/w) solution of the test substance at 25°C was determined in triplicate to be 5.78). The water used to prepare the above samples had a pH value of 4.81 (5.48 after exposure to air).
