Conclusion on classification

A 96 -hr LC50 of > 120 mg/L was determined in fish, the 48 -h EC50 > 75 mg/L was determined in daphnia, and the 72 -h EC50 of 51.9 -80 mg/L was determined in algae; these values indicate that no mortality was observed in these studies at the limit of solubility of the test substance. The substance is not readily or inherently biodegradable. In chronic studies, the 28 -day NOEC in fish was 10 mg/L, the 21 -day NOEC in daphnia was 2.51 mg/L and the 72 -hour NOEC in algae was 1.51 mg/L. Based on these values determined in OECD guideline compliant studies, no classification is required for acute or chronic aquatic toxicity according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
