Additional information

Two short term toxicity studies on aquatic invertebrates and one short term toxicity study on fish were available, all following international guidelines. The test material showed an EC50 over 100 mg/L (Bouchelle, 2001) and 76.88 mg/L (De Nadai, 2009) for daphnids (Daphnia magna) and over 100 mg/L on Fish (Bouchelle, 2001). Both studies performed in 2001 did not contain information concerning the care given to the volatile potential of the test material. Finaly only one study on invertebrates present reliable results (De Nadai, 2009).

Thus the test substance showed an acute short term toxicity on aquatic invertebrates of 48h-EC50 = 76.88 mg/L on Daphnia magna.
