In the plot of the log vTof the test substance as function of the reciprocal temperatures was plotted. The coefficient of correlation (r) was > 0.99. Extrapolation of the curve to 20°C resulted in a value of -7.54 for the log vT, 20of the test substance. Fitting this value in the regression curve, a vapour pressure of 2.82 x 10-4Pa = 2.12 x 10-6mm Hg was obtained.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The isothermal thermogravi metric effusion method was chosen for the determination of the vapour pressure of N-[3-tris(trimethylsilyloxy)silylpropyl]prop-2-Enamide. The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C (293K) was 2.82 x 10-4 Pa = 2.12 x 10-6 mm Hg.
