- Executive summary:
An acute fish toxicity test was performed according to equivalent or similar to OECD Guideline 203. Zebra fish, in two groups each containing 10 fish, were exposed to FAT 46014/F at 300 and 1000 mg/L. No mortality was seen at the any of the exposure concentrations. Hence, the LC50 of FAT 46014/F in this fish acute toxicity test was determined to be >1000 mg/L.

A key study was conducted to determine the short-term toxicity of FAT 46014/F to fish. The test was performed according to OECD test guideline 203 using Zebra fish as test species. The 96 hr LC50 of FAT 46014/F in this fish acute toxicity test was determined to be >1000 mg/L as no mortality was observed. Further, several short term toxicity studies with FAT 46014 (FAT 46014/A, FAT 46014/B, FAT 46014/C and FAT 46014/E) were performed over the years using methodology similar to OECD Guideline 203. The trouts were used in these studies, each group containing 8 fish. The exposure conncetrations used were 100, 200 and 1000 mg/L for 48 hours. No mortality was seen any of these studies, hence, the LC50 in each case was >1000 mg/L.
