Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Water Solubility (range; all constituents): >= 0.0026 to <= 0.0123 mg/L at 25 °C; ca. pH 7, QSAR Prediction – WATERNT v1.01, Firmenich SA 2015

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 Annex VII, column 2 section 7.7 the study does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily oxidisable in water. Furthermore, under section 2 of REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 Annex XI: testing is not technically feasible since the OECD TG 105 test method requires the test substance to be stable (against hydrolysis or oxidation) under the conditions of the test. The test substance is reactive in aqueous solution inhibiting water solubility measurement.

QSAR Predictions WATERNT v1.01 model, 2015 – water solubility range (all constituents): >= 0.0026 to <= 0.0123 mg/L at 25 °C; ca. pH 7

All constituents are within 'insoluble' band (< 0.1 mg/L) at 25 °C and ca. pH 7
