Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates. No toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP guideline study according OECD 202 has been conducted (BASF SE 2015). Due to the low solubility of the test item the test solution was prepared following general guidance provided in OECD 23 in order to achieve a water accommodated fraction (WAF) of the test substance. Additionally, concentration control analyses are not performed, because a reliable method for analyses in the required concentration range could not be developed. Since the concentration of test substance in test media could not be verified analytically, therefore the effect concentrations are based on the loading rate.

After 48 h of exposure no effects occurred within the range of solubility. Therefore, the EL50 was determined to be > 100 mg/L (loading rate) and the test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
