Limited published values are available for the upper and lower flammability of 2 -butoxyethyl acetate. These values cover a reasonably narrow range of values and all are clearly different which suggest that they originate from different sources. The known measured data is regarded as the key study. The flammability information combined with the flashpoint lead to the conclusion for the key parameter.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The flashpoint is above the range where classification for flammability is required. The data on flammability range confirms a lack of hazard below 93C.
