Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The test substance is a highly insoluble (< 0.2 µg/L) complex reaction product. According to Annex VII and VIII of EC regulation No 1907/2006, the short-term toxicity tests on invertebrates (daphnia) and fish does not need to be performed for such highly insoluble test item, short-term toxicity being unlikely to occur.

Therefore, the short-term toxicity test on daphnia was waived and a long-term toxicity test with Daphnia magna was carried out according to the OECD 211 guideline. No effects were observed at the water solubility limit and at all loading rates tested. Therefore, no LOEC can be determined and no NOEC can be derived.

A short-term toxicity test was performed with Danio rerio according to OECD 203 guideline.

No toxicity on fish was observed at the highest loading rate tested (100 mg/L).

Therefore, LL50 was > 100 mg/L and NOELR = 100 mg/L.

The toxicity test on algae and cyanobacteria generating short- and long-term toxicity data, a test with the microalgae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was carried out according to OECD 201 guideline. No inhibition of microalgae growth was observed at the hightest loading rate (100 mg/L) tested.

Therefore, EL50 (growth rate) was > 100 mg/L and NOELR = 100 mg/L.
