Additional information

In a respirometric test according to OECD 301F the biodegradation of the test item was investigated [BASF AG, 1995]. After 28 days 80 -90 % degradation of the test item was determined. Furthermore, the two enantiomers of the test item were tested separatly in biodegradability tests according to OECD 301B. After 28 days 90-100 % degradation were measured for both enantiomers. Hence, it was shown that optical rotation has no impact on the biodegradability of the racemat.
