Ferrosilicon smelted alloys have a wide range of elemental composition and physical forms. Ferrosilicon is commercially available in the form of lumps, ingots, granules and powders of different size ranges (size range from <0.25 mm to 100 mm lumps). FeSi smelted alloys are stable and very slowly soluble and most grades are quite resistant to hydrolyysis and poorly soluble in water.
