Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

Potassium nitrate is not measured in the environment because it cannot be distinguished from other nitrates present. However, nitrate occurs in all compartments of the environment (air, water, soil, sediments, and biota) and comes from many different sources as a result of both natural processes and man-made processes. Only a very small part of nitrates occurring in the general environment will normally originate from potassium nitrate.
