12 °C

Additional information

A flash point value of 26 °C at 1013 hPa was determined for the fusel oil substance using the Abel closed cup method according to ISO 13736:1997. The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as the key study. Measured values from supporting studies give flash points of 37.5, 43 and 46 °C, and also values between the ranges of >12 °C and < 55 °C, depending on the composition. The lowest reported value of 12 °C is taken as a worst case and the key value for chemical safety assessment.
