Principles of method if other than guideline:
The physical condition of the test substance at 20 °C is pasty up to solid. The product forms stable emulsions in water and is soluble in common organic solvents. Therefore methods for solids like hydrostatic balance or pycnometer could not be used for the determination of the relative density. Due to this, the density of the test item was determined according to DIN 51757 method 1 (aerometer) at 40 °C.
