Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Calculations with the software HENRYWIN v3.10, EPIwin v4.11 for the single components cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol predicted Henry's Law constants (HLC) < 100 Pa m3/mol. Therefore, evapurtion to the atmospere from water is not expected for the single components. The calculated HLC for cyclohexanone is 5.18 Pa m3/mol and 0.496 Pa m3/mol for cyclohexanol. Values within the same range from literature support the calculated values (for cyclohexanone 1.21 Pa m3/mol; Hawthorne, 1985 and for cyclohexanol 0.00018 Pa m3/mol; Altschuh et al., 1999).

Based on these values for the single components no evapuration for the mixture of both to the atmosphere from water ist expected either.
