Description of key information

Vacuum gas oils, hydrocracked gas oils, and distillate fuels are liquids at 20°C and 101.3 kPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Physical state at 20°C and 1013 hPa:
liquid

Additional information

Vacuum gas oils, hydrocracked gas oils, and distillate fuels are liquids at 20°C and 101.3 kPa (CONCAWE, 2010a). There is no guideline method for this endpoint. Data presented based on visual observation, supported by data on melting point and viscosity. Shell (1996) also reported that diesel fuel (CAS # 68834 -30 -5) is a liquid at STP.
