Two GLP guideline studies were conducted in order to investigate the toxicity of the test substance towards terrestrial organisms.

The long-term effects of the test substance on the earthworm Eisenia fetida were investigated in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 222. Based on nominal concentrations a NOEC (56 d) value of 500 mg/kg dw of soil was determined (BASF SE 68E0183/02G024, 2018).

The toxicity of the test substance to terrestrial plants was investigated in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 208 (BASF SE 65E0183/02X064, 2019). In all tested species a NOEC (28 d) value (based on shoot height, shoot fresh weight as well on number of emerged seedlings) of >= 1000 mg/kg dw soil was determined in this study.

The toxicity of the test substance to soil microorganisms (Nitrogen Transformation Test) was investigated in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 216 (BASF SE 37G0183/02G023, 2018). An EC10 (28 d) value (based on the nitrate formation rate) of 265 mg/kg dw soil was determined in this study.
