Additional information

Three publications gave value for the VP of ETU (imidazolidine-2 -thione)

  • According to the H&D data base, vapour pressure of ETU (imidazolidine-2-thione) is lower to 1 mm Hg (133.3 Pa) at 20°C
  • According to the PPDB database, vapour pressure of ETU (imidazolidine-2-thione) is 13.3 Pa at 25°C. According to « The e-Pesticide Manual », 13th edition, 2004-2005, Version 3.1, The British Crop Protection Council, the vapour pressure of ETU (imidazolidine-2-thione) is 2.7e-4 Pa (25°C)

Due to the imprecision of the vapour pressure data, a study was made according Commission Regulation (EC) No. 761/2009 - EC A4 method (2009) and OECD Guideline No. 104 (2006), the vapour pressure of the test item ETU (imidazolidine-2 -thione, CAS 96 -45 -7) extrapolated at 25 °C is P = 2.7 x 10-4 Pa.
