First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If
irritation develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected area with
water. If irritation develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, water, foam or dry chemical may be used.

Product arising from burning: Product of combustion may contain oxides of carbon, nitrogen
and sulfur, together with some soot.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Full personal protective clothing and a self-contained
breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1. Isolate
spillage. Sweep up spill or use industrial vacuum fitted
with suitable dust filtration system. Transfer to suitably
labelled containers and dispose of in accordance with local
regulations. Wash spill site down with water and/or sodium
percarbonate solution.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid dust
formation. Handling should be effected under local exhaust
ventilation. Impermeable gloves, a full face respirator
(fitted with P3 filter according to EN 146), and dust proof
coveralls should be worn.

Storage: Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool, dry, dark
place.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for recycling will occur in the manufacturing
plant.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The substance will be degraded by percarbonate solutions
which neutralise the skin sensitisation hazard. (A634)

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The substance may be disposed of at a landfill site.(A650)

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method at a suitable facility. Flue gas
scrubbing to remove oxides of nitrogen and sulfur should be
fitted. (A661)

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance is readily biodegradable.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery from household detergents is not feasible.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: The substance will be degraded, neutralising the hazardous
property, by peroxide bleaching agents present in the
formulation.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: The substance enters the public domain in the form of
household cleaning products intended for disposal to sewer.
