The surface tension of Rewoferm SL P was determined to 35.2 mN/m at 22.6 °C depending on the used procedure. Rewoferm SL P shows a surface tension lower than 60 mN/m. It is a surface-active material. The execution of the determination at a temperature 2.6 °C higher than as prescribed in Method A.5 of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 has no influence on the evaluation.

Conclusions:
Surface tension at 22.6 °C: 35.2 mN/m
Executive summary:

The surface tension of aqueous solutions of the test item was determined according to OECD guideline no. 115 [adopted on 27 July 1995] and EU test method A.5 [Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008] with the ring method.

Surface tension (at 22.6 °C): 35.2 mN/m

Description of key information

The surface tension of aqueous solutions of the test item was determined according to OECD guideline no. 115 [adopted on 27 July 1995] and EU test method A.5 [Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008] with the ring method. Surface tension (at 22.6 °C): 35.2 mN/m.

According to Council regulation 440/2008 the test substance should be regarded as being a surface-active material.
