Conclusion on classification

Based on all available ecotoxicological data for daphnids, fish and algae and the physico-chemical properties of the substance, the substance should not be classified and labelled according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. Although the substance shows no acute toxicity up to the limits of water solubility and is not readily biodegradable, the water solublity is greater than 1 mg/L (and hence should not be considered a “poorly water soluble” substance) and the log Kow of >9.4 indicates that the substance is not likely to bioaccumulate.
