Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No toxic effects against daphnia were observed at a test concentration of nominally 10 mg/L corresponding to a measured concentration of the metabolite resp. hydrolysis product Benzenesulfonanilide  of  0.0127 mg/L, which reflects the maximum water solubility under the semi-static exposure conditions considering the low water solubility of the lipophilic test item.

Additional information

There was no effect up to the test concentration of 10 mg/L and, thus, the key value should be read as NOEC >= 10 mg/L.
