Description of key information

TDI-Uron is colourless organic solid with light smell of amines.

TDI-Uron melts at 185 °C. The boiling point of the substance cannot be determined because the test material decomposes before boiling.

TDI-Uron has a density of 1.23 g/cm³ at 20°C, and a median particle size of 1.48 µm. The vapour pressure has not been determined. Due to the inherent substance structure of TDI-Uron, it can be assumed that the vapour pressure of the substance is negligible. This assumption is supported by the value given in the safety data sheet (SDS) from AlzChem AG (2011) and QSAR results. The log Kow was estimated to be < 1.

The lowest temperature at which ignition of dispersed TDI-Urone dust was observed was 435°C. The substance is considered to be not highly flammable and non explosive. The substance has no oxidising properties.
