In the pre-determination program a temperature of 300 °C was selected, which corresponds to an initial oven temperature of 200 °C. Using a constant heating rate, the subsequent ignition trials were conducted every 20 ± 5 K. Ignition occurs after 31 sec using 5 drops of test item at an oven temperature of 390.1 °C.
