All animals died at 31000 ppm (194000 mg/m3) and no mortality was observed at 26000 ppm (162500 mg/m3), indicating a steep dose-reponse curve. Signs of anaesthesia were observed in surviving animals, with full recovery upon cessation of exposure.

An LC50 of 28000 ppm in the Chinese hamsters following a 4 hour exposure.
