Description of key information

Vapor Pressure: 3.9 Pa at 25 °C, EU Method A.4, Firmenich SA 2013

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
3.9 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure was determined using EU Method A.4 and OECD 104. An extrapolation is made using an non-linear regression with the measuring points according to the permutation matrix of Fremann-Carrol and by Antoine equation to obtain the vapor pressure at 25°C. The boiling temperature is verified by the Siwoloboff method. The Antoine Parameters were determined to be A = 8.1264 B = 2464.099 C = 230.000. According to the calculation of Antoine Parameters (A, B, C), the vapor pressure the substance has been extrapolated to be 0.015 hPa at 25°C or 1.5 Pa at 25°C.
