Description of key information

No Flash Point detected below 160°C, the onset of boiling, Pensky-Martens ASTM D93, Jackson.

Flash Point = 88 +/- 4°C, Pensky-Martens ASTM D93, Bailey. This lower Flash point is caused by residual Xylene in the test sample tested, and does not reflect the intrinsic properties of the substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
160 °C

Additional information

The both available studies were considered reliable, however, the lower flashpoint result reflects an additional low flashpoint solvent impurity. The result best reflecting the intrinsic properties of the registered substance is flash point > 160°C.
