Description of key information

PNEC sediment is calculated using the EPM. This approach is considered justified in relation to the use of the substance where only soil organisms may be exposed.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to claimed uses of N-[2 -(piperazin-1 -yl)ethyl]C18 -insaturated-alkylamide sediment exposure is not expected. At the moment no data is available for characterizing N-[2-(piperazin-1-yl)ethyl]C18-insaturated-alkylamide effects on organisms inhabiting sediments. The Predicted no effect concentration for the benthic compartment is therefore calculated applying the equilibrium partitioning method.
