Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures-In case of skin contact:Immediately take off all contaminated clothing.Areas of the body that have - or are only even suspected of having - come into contact with the product must be rinsed immediately with plenty of running water and possibly with soap.WARNING! This product is toxic through skin contact. OBTAIN IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.-In case of eyes contact:After contact with the eyes, rinse with water with the eyelids open for a sufficient length of time, then consult an opthalmologist immediately.Protect uninjured eye.-In case of Ingestion:Do NOT induce vomiting.Give nothing to eat or drink.-In case of Inhalation:If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. In case of inhalation, consult a doctor immediately and show him packing or label. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: None known to date.Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media-Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray and Carbon dioxide (CO2).-Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Direct water jetSpecial hazards arising from the substance or mixture:Do not inhale explosion and combustion gases.Burning produces heavy smoke.Advice for firefighters: Use suitable breathing apparatus .Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.Move undamaged containers from immediate hazard area if it can be done safely.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:Wear personal protection equipment.Remove all sources of ignition.Wear breathing apparatus if exposed to vapours/dusts/aerosols.Provide adequate ventilation.Use appropriate respiratory protection.Environmental precautions:Do not allow to enter into soil/subsoil. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.In case of gas escape or of entry into waterways, soil or drains, inform the responsible authorities.Suitable material for taking up: absorbing material, organic, sandMethods and material for containment and cleaning up:Wash with plenty of water.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:Avoid contact with skin and eyes, inhalation of vapours and mists.Use localized ventilation system.Don't use empty container before they have been cleaned. Before making transfer operations, assure that there aren't any incompatible material residuals in the containers.Contamined clothing should be changed before entering eating areas.Do not eat or drink while working.Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:Ventilate where the product is stored and manipulated.Store container in a well ventilated position.Store in a cool place.Keep container tightly closed.Always keep in a well ventilated place.Keep away from food, drink and feed.Incompatible materials: None in particular.Instructions as regards storage premises: Cool and adequately ventilated.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure controls-Eye protection:Faceshield (minimum 20 cm) according to EN 166.-Protection for skin:Use clothing that provides a full protection to the skin.-Protection for hands:Use protective gloves according to EN 374 standards, on the base of the intended use (penetration and permeation).Replace gloves immediately in case of degradation.-Respiratory protection:Self-contained respirator (DIN EN 133).Provide an adequate ventilation. It must be ensured a good ventilation and good general ventilarion exchange system.-Thermal Hazards:No particular fire or explosion hazard.-Environmental exposure controls:Collective protection devices (general ventilation system)
Stability and reactivity
-ReactivityStable under normal conditions-Chemical stabilityThe product is stable at normal handling- and storage conditions.-Possibility of hazardous reactionsThe product is stable at normal handling- and storage conditions.-Conditions to avoidStable under normal conditions.-Incompatible materialsNone in particular known today.-Hazardous decomposition productsUnder normal conditions of storage and use, should not be hazardous decomposition products.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methodsRecover, if possible. Send to authorised disposal plants or for incineration under controlled conditions. In so doing, comply with the local and national regulations currently in force.
