In Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, it is laid down that long-term toxicity testing shall be proposed by the registrant if the chemical safety assessment indicates the need to investigate further the effects on terrestrial organisms.
According to claimed uses of methyl undecylenate terrestrial exposure is unlikely. At the moment no data is available for characterizing methyl undecylenate effects on organisms inhabiting terrestrial compartment. The PNEC for terrestrial compartment can be estimated based on the equilibrium partitioning method. So tests are not proposed for covering this question.
