The surface tension was determined using the ring method of OECD TG 115 and EU Method A.5. The surface tension of a test solution at 90% saturated aqueous solution of the test substance has been determined to be 56.81 mN/m at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. Substances showing a surface tension lower than 60 mN/m under the conditions of this method, should be regarded as being surface active.
