The density of Reaction mass of lanthanum oxide and titanium dioxide was determined from five replicates at 20 °C. The results are given in Table 1.

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 109, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, method A.3 (REACH) and EPA OPPTS 830.7300 in order to determine the relative density of the test item using the pycnometer method (multipycnometer density tester). The test item was filled into the empty, clean sample cell and the weight was measured. The volume of the test item was measured in inert gas (helium) in a cylinder of variable calibrated volume. The density tester determined automatically the volume of sample. The density was calculated. The test was performed five times. The mean density was determined to be 6.1806 g/cm³± 0.06457 with 95% confidence interval at 20 °C (equates to a relative density of 6.1806 ± 0.06457 at 20 °C).

Conclusions:
The relative density of the test item was determined to be 6.1806 ± 0.06457 (with 95 % confidence interval) at 20 °C.

Description of key information

The relative density of the test item was determined to be 6.1806 ± 0.06457 (with 95 % confidence interval) at 20 °C.
