Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The results of the risk assessment covering all relevant exposures throughout the life cycle of the submission item demonstrate the absence of a risk to the environment. The environmental concentrations were predicted and compared to the respective PNECs (in the absence of toxicity data for soil organisms, the equilibrium partitioning method was applied to assess the hazard to soil organisms). The resulting RCRs for all identified uses were clearly below 1. Consequently, a need to investigate further the effects on terrestrial organisms is not indicated.

Additional information

Toxicity to sediment organisms is not a standard information requirement in Annex IX. Moreover, as the exposure assessment (see chapter 9) does not indicate the need to investigate further the effects on sediment organisms (as the uses and applications of the substance do not involve contact with water, sediment or soil), no further long-term testing on sediment is proposed.
