Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No effects in the range of the water solubility of the test substance (< 0.004 mg/L in aqua dest) were observed for Daphnia magna (OECD 202).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity of 2-hexyldecanoic acid[4-(6-tert-butyl-7-chloro-1H-pyrazolo[1,5-b][1,2,4]triazol-2-yl)phenylcarbamoyl]methylester (UM-235) towards aquatic invertebrates was investigated in a study by de Roode (2004). This test was carried out as static limit-test according to OECD guideline 202 under GLP conditions. Daphnia magna was exposed to a filtered test solution of nominal 100 mg/L. HPLC analysis of the test media showed the mean measured test concentration to be 0.044 mg/L. As no immobilisation or other adverse effects occurred after 48 h of exposure, no effect concentration value could be calculated. Therefore, the EC50 (48 h) is considered to be > 0.044 mg/L.
