Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Equations

Density of Test Item

The density of the test item was calculated using the following equation:

p = (m3 - m1) / (m2 -m1) * p(H2O)

with

p = density in g/cm3

m1 = mass of empty pycnometer in g

m2 = mass of pycnometer with water in g

m3 = mass of pycnometer with test item in g

p(H2O) = density of water at test temperature (0.9982 g*cm-3 at 20.0 °C)

The relative density of the test item has the same number value, but no unit.
