First-aid measures

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, oxygen may be beneficial if adminstrated by trained personnel, preferably on a doctor's advice. Get medical attention immediately.
Skin contact: Immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water. Seek medical attention if symptoms occur. Launder clothing before reuse.
Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Ingestion: Have victim rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Have victim drink 240 to 300 ml of water, and induce vomiting. Get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water, foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder.
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: No known.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases: Combustion of this material may generate harmful gases such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide.
Special fire fighting procedures: In fire situations involving surrounding area, cool the product down with plenty of water. Move container from fire area if you can do it without risk.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Self-contained breathing apparatus and appropriate personal protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (See 'Exposure controls / personal protection') during clean up. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhalation of dust.
Environmental precautions: Avoid dust generation.
Methods for clean up: Shut off all sources of ignition. Avoid raising dust. Sweet up, place in solid waste containers for later disposal. Residual trace is wiped away.

Handling and storage

Handling: Handle with appropriate personal protective equipment (See 'Exposure controls / personal protection') under ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhalation of dust. Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure. Avoid raising dust. It is preferable that the exhaust ventilation is designed and installed so that exhaust air is properly filtered and is not re-circulated into a workplace unless it has been effectively filtered.
Storage: Store in a cool and dark place. Keep away from incompatible materials (See 'Stability and reactivity').

The cautions which should be taken during transportation are the same as the cautions mentioned in 'Handling and storage'. In case of accidental release or fire during transportation, see the instructions given in Sections 'Fire-fighting measures', 'Accidental release measures', 'Handling and storage' and 'Exposure controls / personal protection'.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Occupational exposure controls: Mechanical exhaust and/or local exhaust are necessary. It is preferable that the exhaust ventilation is designed and installed so that exhaust air is properly filtered and is not re-circulated into a workplace unless it has been effectively filtered.
Respiratory protection: Appropriate respirator which is approved or made according to a standard approved by the relevant national body for health and safety.
Hand protection: Chemical-resistant gloves.
Eye protection: Chemical safety goggles.
Skin protection: Wear body-covering clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Stability and reactivity

Stability: This product is stable under normal conditions of handling and storage.
Conditions to avoid: Conditions which may cause dangerous reaction are not known.
Materials to avoid: Strong oxidizing agents, strong alkali substances.
Hazardous decomposition products: Combustion of this material may generate harmful gases such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide.
