Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance did not affect the germination and growth of Soy bean exposed for 28 days. At 1000 mg test material per kg soil morphology was changed.
The substance did not affect the germination of Oat exposed for 28 days. At 1000 mg test material per kg soil growth was reduced. At 560 mg test material per kg soil morphology was changed.
The substance did not affect the germination of tomato exposed for 28 days. At 1000 mg test material per kg soil morphology and growth was reduced. When the test material was admixed already 28 days before sowing, morphology was changed already at concentrations above 100 mg/kg soil. The EC50 of this effect was calculated as 190 mg/kg soil.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Short-term EC50 or LC50 for terrestrial plants:
190 mg/kg soil dw
Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for terrestrial plants:
100 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

EC 50 as well as NOEC above refer to the most sensitive species tomato (lycopersicon esculentum)
