Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Additional information

Adsorption/desorption:

The log Koc value was predicted with the program KOCWIN and with three QSPR methods. The resulting geometric mean of log Koc = 4.165 (Koc = 14622 L/kg) is considered as valid as it is being supported by several different QSPR approaches. It is proposed to use the predicted value for the adsorption coefficient of log Koc = 4.165 in the chemical safety assessment. The substance is considered to be immobile in sediments and soil (McCall et al. 1981).

As additional adsorption/desorption testing cannot be expected to reveal new results with any added value concerning the risk assessment of this substance, additional Annex IX studies on adsorption/desorption shall be waived.

Henry's law constant:

This information is not available. The Henry's law constant can be calculated (EUSES 2.1.2) from the available information on the physical-chemical properties of the substances, giving a value of 28.6 Pa· m3/mol.The substance is considered as moderately volatile under environmental conditions.
